5 easy ways to learn english

For me, the best way has always been watching films, cartoons, tv shows and certain tv channels like bbc or sky news. Since I was little I watched cartoon network and despite I didn't understood a word I kept watching and now I see that it was a good thing to do :) About the films, in our country none of the films are translated but instead we have subtitles. That is a very good thing due to the fact that when you are younger you can associate the words said do the words on the subtitles (I always learned some new words!) and know I challenge myself by only listening to what they say and not read the subtitles!

 The second good way to learn English is to write several times the new words we learn, for instance, when I learned the colours or the numbers or even the name of our clothes, the homework was to write each new word five or ten times!! This definetly helped me a lot!

 A third good way to learn and practise our English is to talk with our friends or teacher in class! This way we can practise new vocabulary and at the same time we learn with the mistakes that we might say during our speech. And at the end we always say "I could have said that in a different and better way!".

 Next advice is to read a lot, not only books but newspapers and magazines as well! There is so much good and new vocabulary in a book that we have no idea! That's why I try to read in English at every opportunity that I have! Even if I don't understand the meaning of that word, I can understand the meaning of the sentence and by that I can try and guess what that word really means!

Finally, the last but not the least, I would recomend all people learning English to go to England, to try to have a conversation with native speakers or even listen to them speak! Go shoping, go to the café, go to dinner, to a movie or even the theater and you will see that this is for sure the best way to really learn English! You also will have the chance to discover a new culture and visit new places that you might not ever forget! =) - Francisca Paisana

Introduce yourself

First i really want to write an article for beginners. Why for beginners? cause this is where all started where you'll learn how to learn english first. Usually we learn english from introduce way, yas i know some of you already learnt in on primary school, but lets back to this one maybe you still have the wrong way to introduce your self but first at all i really want to say sorry for my bad english and grammar so well, lets start it.

Whats the first thing you usually do when you meet someone? Yas ofc you need to introduce your self to him/her. but  introducing yourself to someone does not mean that you are just telling your name. The introduction can include other details such as: where you are from, where you work, the job you have, your hobbies and much more but how you introduce yourself its depends on the situation you are, and the amount of information you both want.

Well, when you want to introduce with a stranger or a person you just met. You need to say "hi","hello","hey", or etc. But saying hi and hei its not enough you need to say your name too even the person that you met didnt ask ur name first but you can say it like "Hi My Name is Nadya" or "Hi I'm Nadya" but if you want you can say your full name and your call name but its depends the situation.

After you tell them your name next you can tell them how old are you and what you do for living, ex: "Im 27 years old and Im a dentist". By telling them what you do people can know you better and also you can tell them where you live right now. It will make the strangers want to know you better.

But at all you need to ask back. Its feel like for the strangers you have interest with them and maybe you can ask their common interest cus some people really love to talk with the person that they just met with the same common :)

How I Learn English

So I’ll tell u lil bit about how I learn English in the last 4 years cause in the last 4 years I really study English not only want to got a best grade on English class and ofc tips from me too hah :D but if its look like a dumb tip please don’t hate me. Well, just started.

I started to learn English on 2^nd grade on primary school. My parents took me to private class with my twins brother for 3 years then we entered regular course but I think my English just stuck in there even I always got A in every semester. Yeah I used to be the clever on in English on my class it always happen since primary school(idk if the college too or not haha). So Me and my brothers dedicated to got out from the course and didn’t take any course again cause we knew all we did just sitting on the class, listen the teachers talks about grammar and watch movie with Indonesia translate and you need to pay like 65.000 but you got nothing. So since that I just learnt English at the school.

I really get interest in English on 2009 cus you know justin bieber this guy made me my English getting better and better but I still had a worst grammar. Yeah I joined 4 fandoms in the last 4 years and all of them help me to made my English getting better again especially liking one direction, since I liked them my grammar increase slightly than before without went to course. I knew its sound so weird but it’s the truth. I mean joining the fandom is the great way to learn English. But grammar is still the biggest problem on me and I don’t have any friends in the real that I could talk English with them.

So here I’ll give you some advice how to learn English on my way 

   -  Listen the English music .

When you listen the music you need to understand the meaning and start to remember the lyrics and when you start to remember the lyrics automatic you just learnt how to speak English or reading with a note. 

   - Watch A movie

Not local movies but hollywood don’t forget don’t put Indonesia translate if you want use a translate you can use English. 

 -  Social Media

I think all of you have twitter right? Those social media will help you to learn English. I mean you can tweet in English sentence don’t be afraid if you will make a bad grammar cause you know we’re study in here its ok to make a mistake. And you could follows some accounts about how to learn English they will help u with it

  - Omegle

If you don’t have a friend or don’t have someone to talk English with you. You can try to go down to this site. This is a worldwide chat room its mean  all the people in there talk English and you need to talk English and you need to understand what they said

 -Joining the fandom

This is the last advice. Ofc joining the fandom, I mean when you like a band or singer or whatever automatic you will go down to the youtube and watch all their interview,you want to know what they said , what a joke that they made , whats the meaning of the songs that they sing and you will have a couple friends that u could talk English with. Trust me this is the best way.
